Hi, I'm Ellen! I want to share my passion for the natural world with you; but first, we have to save the natural world. I help people understand the climate crisis, and what we can do to cool our fevered planet. I train presentation leaders and teachers how to share the science, the seriousness and the solutions to the climate crisis.
Why the Woodstork?
The Woodstork is my totem for wise management of our natural resources.
Each fall the woodstork flies over Florida gauging water levels. She will not start a family unless there is enough water to last until late spring. Her eyesight is poor, so she catches fish by touch--making the most of her talents, strengths and resources to provide for herself and her chicks, even during droughts and floods.
