The CLEO Institute invites you to the Faith and Climate Summit, an evening dedicated to exploring how Christian values can inform and inspire climate action. As the impacts of global warming grow more urgent, this event asks an important question: How can faith communities lead the way in caring for our common home?
Together, we will discuss the deep connections between spiritual stewardship and environmental responsibility, drawing on the idea that protecting the planet is both a moral and a faith-driven calling. Attendees will have the opportunity to reflect, engage in conversation, and learn how faith-based approaches can strengthen our collective response to the climate crisis.
The evening will feature Ellen Siegel, Gainesville Climate Leader and longtime CLEO Institute advocate. Our current cohort of climate speaker interns will share their personal faith and climate story—a heartfelt account of how belief, service, and community engagement have shaped her journey in environmental advocacy. Their stories highlight how compassion, hope, and moral responsibility can become powerful tools in the movement for climate justice.
Join us as we bridge the gap between faith and science, finding shared purpose in protecting God’s creation. This event offers a welcoming space for reflection, dialogue, and collective action toward a more sustainable and spiritually grounded future. Parking is Available!
It’s a faith-based climate solution rooted in hope, unity, and the power of community.
